Do you want to ensure students learn about sustainability at school? Do you think it’s important for young people to understand the impact they have on the environment? Do you want our next generation of leaders and voters to be globally aware and educated? If the answer is yes, we hope you’ll consider supporting the Population Education program and its efforts to make these a reality.
Population Education is already the leading source for K-12 curricular materials and professional development resources for teaching population concepts. I’m proud that we have a presence in classrooms and on university campuses all across the country—we’ve trained nearly 55,000 teachers over the last five years alone!
All of our work is made possible by the volunteerism of our dedicated teacher trainers, and through the generous financial support of Population Connection members. In fact, last year individual contributions comprised 80% of our revenue!
If you’ve had an opportunity to take advantage of our population products and resources, and if you love using them in your classrooms, I hope you’ll consider making a gift to help us get Population Education into even more classrooms. Even a gift of $5 or $10 is a valuable contribution to the development of more lesson plans, visual resources, and training opportunities for teachers around the country.
As a special “thank you” for your contribution of $25 or more, I’d love to send you our newest product, a beautiful and informative Population Cartogram poster.
I hope you’ll make a gift to support Population Education today—none of our work would be possible without the generosity of people like you!
