The annual National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) conference is just around the corner – March 12-15, 2015 in Chicago – and the Population Education team will be there! We’ll have a booth in the exhibit hall (#977) and present two sessions.
- Population Activities for AP Environmental Science (session for high school APES) – Thursday, March 12 at 3:30pm in McCormick Place, room S404a.
- Math/Science Integration for Earth’s Sake (session for upper elementary, 3rd-5th) – Friday, March 13 at 3:30pm in McCormick Place, room S504a.
Stop by the Population Education booth to spin our wheel of resources and take home a free curriculum item for your classes. We have materials to help you teach about sustainability, human ecology, population pressures, and more. Whether you teach kindergarten or AP Environmental Science, run a STEM program or science fair, are a formal classroom teacher or non-formal staff at a zoo – we have something to offer.
Among the free classroom goodies we’ll be giving away are posters, data sheets, our famous “dot” DVD, as well grade specific curricula and lesson plans. Additionally, print and bring the coupon below for a free USB flash drive.
See you in Chicago!
