Students read and discuss a story about people coming together to help one another, and then plan a school event to help others in their community.
Students will be able to:
- Identify two ways people in their community need help and two ways charitable organizations are working to address the problems.
- Plan and facilitate a donation drive for a charitable organization in their area.
- Reflect on the benefits and challenges of working together on a community service project.
